The biennial group trip from our friends, new & old, from Honfleur took place this year from Thursday 14th – Sunday 17th June. After taking in a lunch stop en route  the group arrived in Sandwich to meet their hosts and spend their first evening with them at home or in one of our local restaurants, wine bars or pubs. Friday was a full day consisting of a visit to Chartwell Manor, and, in the evening, the Sandwich & Honfleur group were at St Marys for a ‘Rock & Roll’ evening.  Our star guest was Elvis who danced with Yvonne Toulancoat.  For those who have enjoyed Yvonne’s company for many years on the exchange visit we were delighted by the dancing.  There are pictures on this website! On  Saturday our guests were treated to a Sandwich town trail & quiz, which was organised by Chairman Stuart Jones, before heading off to Canterbury to experience the culture & beauty, then returning for an evening with their hosts.
